Description

The SHURIKEN is a Japanese martial arts weapon.

Our SHURIKEN model is the result of smashing together the designs of our two small wave boards … The Cheater and The Multi. The result is a super sharp hybrid board for small wave days.

The SHURIKEN holds volume from nose to tail for ease of paddling, but with mid rails so you can really bury this weapon as you power surf the small waves. Given the wider tail characteristic of this model, Gav also added a double flyer to liven up the tail.

Loving my new SHURIKEN, is fricken smooth and responsive. An easy paddle and gets in the wave nice and early. Thanks Gav and Nikki.

  2. Binty

I picked up a 2nd hand epoxy SHURIKEN a few weeks ago from Beach St Surf Shop NZ. It’s actually Chip’s (shop owner) old board. It’s a 5′ 10″ stock dims and honestly it’s one of the best boards I’ve ever ridden. I haven’t had a bad surf on it yet! Fast, responsive but yet really forgiving. I’ll be ordering exactly the same when I’ve thrashed this one to bits. Shot Gav!

  3. Fabiano

I wanted something fun but still high performance to surf 2 – 3ft waves everywhere. The SHURIKEN paddles around well and catches waves like a summer groveler but has a more standard rocker, nose and somewhat pulled in tail. It moves and holds more like a high performance board but you don’t have to pump too much to get speed. I went an extra litre in volume and it’s perfect. Still haven’t managed to bog rail on it . Smooth down the line and precise tight turns on the pocket. Strong construction. If this board breaks or gets stolen today, I would re-order the exact same thing tomorrow.

  4. Dennis

When I discussed with Gav what I wanted in my new board, I told him I wanted a board that felt familiar but would let me get more out of my performance … and that’s exactly how my new SHURIKEN in the 1-DA EXCLUSIVE EPOXY tech feels. It suits my style and I can already feel the board letting me push harder than my previous boards. After being out of the water for almost a year, I’m hanging to surf this board as much as I can. Thanks guys.

  5. Ray

My latest ELITE and SHURIKEN are great, works for me!!

  6. Dane Staples

It’s been a few weeks and still to this day, I haven’t had a bad surf on my SHURIKEN. It’s the most amazing board I’ve ever had the pleasure of riding. I haven’t had a magic board like this in all my years of surfing and that’s the truth. Thanks so much once again! You’re making it incredibly hard to get behind the lens these days.

  7. Dale Staples, South African QS Surfer

The SHURIKEN is going really good, especially in the small conditions with the EPOXY! It fits in those small pockets and just floats through the flat sections.

  8. Johnmichael Noble

Hi Gav. Maaaaaate, my SHURIKEN is unbelievable dude. It’s really responsive on my backhand and super fast! Buddy, I just want to ride right handers now, lol. Wicked Gav. Thanks brada! Mean boards Gav. What can I say buddy, super stoked! Yeeeeooow. P.S. What’s next …hehe

  9. Chris Wilkes

I love my SHURIKEN. Heaps of speed, great on rail. Epic board!
