Can I talk to the shaper?
Everyone who orders a brand new board is offered the opportunity to receive a FREE Private Consultation with our World Class Shaper GAVIN UPSON.
Appointments can be attended:
- in person at our Tweed Heads premises; or
- by Facebook Video Chat; or
- by Telephone.

How long will my surfboard take in production?
PU: 4 weeks.
Epoxy: 6 weeks.
Colour: Add another 2 weeks.
Can I order accessories (e.g. fins, grips, leggies, board bags, etc) when ordering my board?
Yes you can.
Simply let us know via info@1-DAshapes.com what you are after at the time of ordering and we’ll arrange the accessories to be sent with your board.
Can I visit the factory to view and buy boards?
All boards are made to order so we don’t hold stock on hand.
We run our factory BY APPOINTMENT ONLY for those ordering a board who wish to take advantage of a FREE Private Consultation with our World Class Shaper GAVIN UPSON.
Can I order a custom surfboard?
Absolutely. There is no charge to customise your 1-DA surfboard.

Can I get colour on my surfboard?
Yes, you can have whatever artwork you like on your 1-DA board at an additional cost when placing a board order.
If you have an idea, put your idea on paper to give to Gav during your FREE Private Consultation or send it to us at info@1-DAshapes.com. We will provide a quote for your approval before proceeding.
Does my 1-DA board come with fins?
Unless stated otherwise on our website, all 1-DA surfboards are sold without fins.
If you would like a set of fins with your board order, simply let us know what you are after at the time of ordering and we’ll arrange for that fin set to be sent with your board and your invoice adjusted accordingly.
