The SEMI GUN is a step up board for bigger waves.

The design is based on Gav’s knowledge & experience over the last 10 years working with big wave riders.

The SEMI GUN has a foiled out tail, giving more hold and drive. As the bigger waves provide all the power, Gav has also toned down the single to double concave.

I tried the board (SEMI GUN) today for the first time. Loved it!! It is exactly what I was looking for. Paddles really well and sticks to the face of the wave. It felt great. Gav did a great job!

I love my two boards (THE ELITE and the SEMI GUN). They are so fast and responsive. When I got to my feet, it was like going on a magic carpet ride, gave me confidence to take on any wave that came my way. THE ELITE 6’ 5” went off, loved tube riding and power turns in the pocket. The SEMI GUN 6’ 10” was legendary. Needed to have bigger waves, maybe 10-15 foot. Thanks Gavin, sick boards man. Wahoo.

I’ve had many boards around the 6’6 range over the years, as it’s a real go-to board for G-Land where I’ve spent a lot of time, and numerous other solid Indo spots. Not to mention Hawaii on a medium sized day. I’ve never clicked perfectly with them. Usually they have some positives as well as drawbacks … i.e. go great in the barrel but struggle to do performance turns. It wasn’t until I got my first SEMI GUN off 1-DA that it finally happened. Gav made me a 6′ 6” and the thing is like an extension of my shortboards. The flow of the board, paddle power, barrel riding, manoeuvrability and general feel under my feet is amazing. The SEMI GUN will not fail to disappoint!

I was fortunate enough to compete in the PIPELINE PRO JUNIOR earlier this year in pumping 6-10 foot waves.

Gav shaped me a SEMI GUN where, on the smaller 6-7 foot days at Pipe, I was able to take the drop and lock into the barrel with ease.

The SEMI GUN got me into the wave early with confidence and held its line so good. It is definitely a board that will be in my quiver next year I surf Pipe.
