Description

Not just for fun and going straight, this little gem is also geared up with performance in mind.

The design came through discussions with Bobby Martinez of what he likes in his shoulder-high-and-under boards where he feels the ‘buzz’.

The BUZZINGA is DESIGNED FOR FUN, but of course with a ‘performance’ edge, typical of Gav’s designs. This FUN hybrid includes a full nose outline. The bottom has a roll for ease of water placement, which feeds into a single to double vee concave offering increased speed.

After viewing footage of surfers riding similar designed boards, Gav also added a double flyer so the tail isn’t so loosey goosey.

  1. L

Got the 5’ 4″ BUZZINGA. Surfs well from tiny to overhead. Fastest board for smaller surf. Getting more waves than ever. Will be getting more boards from 1-DA. Thanks 🙂

  2. Sebby

I scored a 5′ 8″ BUZZINGA a few months ago and loved it from day one. Super fun board for smaller mushy waves but holds its own in bigger surf and loves mid-size low tide point breaks on a quad set up. The volume is spot on and I am catching more waves with less paddle than ever before, which has made it my go-to board lately. Gav and Nikki are super awesome and will help you with any questions, tech advice or extra gear you might need. Thanks guys.
